Strabismus and amblyopia aims to respond to a frequent request of residents and colleagues for a book focused on strabismus and related aspects, since the entire details of these conditions are hardly presented in Pediatric Ophthalmology Textbooks, due to the necessary extent limitations. The book is organized in five sections, dealing with general topics, comitant strabismus, paralytic strabismus, restrictive and syndromic strabismus, and miscellanea, respectively, with a broad coverage of nystagmus. Each chapter has been written by experts in the field, and a gookd amount of photographies illustrate the explanation of both theoretical and practical contents: state of the art for different issues, most common and useful procedures ( medical and surgical interventions), results of collaborative research project and suggestions for new ones. The book has been thought as a source of fundamentals for practitioners treating strabismus, fellows and residents in the field of Ophthalmology and Neurophthalmology.
